Graduate Student Association

Purpose

The IUSOGSA aims to facilitate networking and social interactions between graduate students within the Indiana University School of Optometry and to represent the interests of graduate students to the School of Optometry Graduate Committee. IUSOGSA organizes activities and events for graduate students throughout the year.

Membership

All graduate students (M.S., Ph.D., and O.D./Ph.D. students) who are admitted to the School of Optometry will automatically become members of the graduate student association upon their acceptance. All School of Optometry students are welcome to attend IUSOGSA meetings and activities.

Faculty of the School of Optometry will be given nonstudent membership status in the organization, with all rights and privileges therein, except for the right to vote or hold office.

Membership and participation in this organization are free from discrimination based on race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin or ancestry, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
